Made up of four load-bearing beams in laminated wood, properly sized, obtained by gluing multiple boards of solid northern conifer wood with fine grain and compact texture.
The boards are glued grain-against-grain using transparent polyurethane adhesive, ecological class 0, without solvents or formaldehyde, certified by the Otto Graf Institute in Stuttgart according to DIN 1052 standards.
Three resting platforms made of laminated wood frames and wooden decking, connected by internal ladders with stainless steel rungs.
Two tunnel slides with a diameter of 80 cm, positioned at heights of 186 cm, 322 cm, and 458 cm, made of mass-colored polyethylene, resistant to weathering, washable, and fully recyclable.
For both aesthetic and maximum safety reasons, starting from the first platform, all four sides of the structure will be enclosed with vertically placed stainless steel tubes (1” thick), positioned side by side up to the complete closure at the top.
These tubes will be properly welded to a perimeter steel frame.
The structure’s carpentry will be made of adequately dimensioned galvanized steel.
At the top, a rotating pin (weather vane type) will hold the logo of the Holzhof games line.
All the wood used will be autoclave-treated with copper and boron salts (without chromates) to prevent rot, and further treated with a specific product to counteract the chemical and physical degradation caused by UV rays on lignin.
The fastening bolts will be housed in high-resistance colored plastic caps.
