We are pleased to share an important initiative that involved students from the Advanced Training Course for Green Technology Specialists, organized by the Edmund Mach Foundation - San Michele A.A. Trento. At our headquarters, we recently concluded the module "Materials, artifacts and furnishings for play areas", a training program that represented an opportunity for growth and development for future professionals in the sector.
During the module, students were able to explore in depth the selection and use of materials and furnishings for designing green spaces dedicated to play and wellbeing. Particular attention was given to fundamental themes such as inclusivity, safety and sustainability, essential aspects for creating environments that are not only functional and aesthetically pleasing, but also accessible and safe for everyone.
A key element of the training was the in-depth study of the UNI EN 1176 standard, which regulates the safety of play equipment in parks and public areas. Thanks to a balance between theory and practice, participants were able to fully understand the importance of designing spaces that comply with safety standards, without sacrificing innovation and creativity.
At the conclusion of the program, students had the opportunity to visit our production departments, entering the heart of our work. During the visit, they were able to observe closely the materials used, the processing methods and the technologies we employ to ensure quality and durability in our products. It was a precious moment to experience firsthand the dynamics of production and understand how every detail can make a difference in designing safe and stimulating play spaces.
This training experience proved to be a highly inspiring opportunity, providing participants with concrete skills and new perspectives for their professional future. We are proud to have contributed to this growth journey and we hope that what they learned will accompany them on their path in the world of green spaces and the design of areas dedicated to play and wellbeing.
