The European regulatory framework requires that the CE marking process for structural metal products be carried out in accordance with EN 1090-1 Certification of conformity of factory production control for structural components, in our case aluminium. With regard to the realisation of welded structures, or parts thereof, these activities must also out in accordance with UNI EN ISO 3834-3 Quality Management System Certification for welding activities for metal carpentry and required for managing the production of assembled structural metal products through welded joints.
In particular, the EN 1090-1 standard establishes the requirements and procedures for affixing the CE marking in accordance with European Regulation (EU) no. 305/2011. The manufacturer initially qualifies its products through type testing or calculations, and certifies its FPC (Factory Production Control) via an authorised Notified Body.
