Training for playground safety

For more than 46 years, we have been producing playground equipment, designed specifically for one of the most vulnerable segments of the population: children. As adults — and even more so as playground equipment manufacturers — we have a duty to make play as safe as possible, as it is vital to our children’s development. This is ensured through the rigorous application of the UNI EN 1176 and 1177 standards, and by staying up to date through regular training courses.

For many years, we have been holding playground safety courses at our dedicated facilities, in partnership with Mr. Ernesto Collino of TÜV. This three-day course is held every six months, and is intended for public authority staff, designers, operators, installers, and maintenance personnel — anyone involved with playgrounds on a professional level. A final exam certifies participants to independently carry out annual general inspections and verify the correct installation of new play areas.

The UNI EN 1176 reference standard has recently been revised to further enhance playground safety.
