Green at every stage of its life cycle

Holzhof has successfully and enthusiastically used polyethylene for many years to manufacture most components of its playground equipment.Fully green, recycled, and recyclable, polyethylene is an MEC-compliant material. Thanks to its excellent versatility and properties, we have been able to create a wide variety of rotationally moulded components, including slides, climbing platforms, roofs, parapets, ladders, spring riders, activity panels, furniture, and more. The polyethylene used by Holzhof, shaped through rotational moulding, is coloured in the mass to prevent fading, withstands temperatures from -85°C to +90°C, offers high UV resistance, and is 100% recyclable.

In addition to these fundamental characteristics, polyethylene is also distinguished from other materials by its good resistance to wear and abrasion as well as to impact, its low coefficient of friction and low water absorption, its excellent non-stick properties and its low specific weight, which allows for considerable savings during transport and assembly of products made with it.
